Floral
Monday again. After a beautiful weekend that included freshly mowed grass, I’m feeling pretty refreshed and ready for a new week! Don’t you just love a lawn after it’s been mowed?! I’m just finding it hard to believe we’re mowing in March!
For today’s card, I used Prickley Pear’s new Rosebud Fairy. I started out using kraft cardstock as the base, but ended up changing to yellow. I think it makes things pop a bit more. I’m not typically a floral kind of gal (You won’t find floral bedspreads or decor in my home…LOL!), but this card was actually fun to make! Maybe I should spread my creative wings a bit more!
Supplies:
Stamps – Prickley Pear (Rosebud Fairy)
Paper – SU cardstocks (So Saffron, Cherry Cobbler), Copic blending card, Prima DP (Londonerry)
Ink – SU (Cherry Cobbler), Memento (Tuxedo Black)
Accessories – SU grosgrain ribbon (So Saffron), Nestabilities (oval, scalloped oval)
Coloring – Copic markers
