Flying By with Prickley Pear
I used the Bats clear set to whip up a clean and simple Halloween card.
Kraft cardstock seems to be calling my name lately and I found myself creating yet another kraft based design!
I stamped three small bats in black ink and cut them out. Then, I applied a little glitter with a Wink of Stella brush marker. After this was dry, the bats were mounted on the main panel using foam dots. The sentiment was stamped in black ink before mounting the center panel on black glitter cardstock. Once mounted, the layered piece was attached to the card base using foam dots. This is such a simple Halloween greeting! I found myself considering making some miniature greeting cards for the boys’ classes this week. The bats in this set could definitely be used for some little boy cards! There is a coordinating bat die for this set here.
We had a busy weekend. DH is working on installing the countertops in the new craft room! Things are starting to come together and I’m trying really hard to be patient! Little by little… Leaves continue to fall and raking activities have begun.
