Giggle Giggle Quack
This week’s cue word over at CASology is a light hearted one! It’s time for a good ole dose of laughter and wit! Or maybe just some pure creativity! This word just makes me smile reading it! What about you? That’s the beauty of the weekly cue words! You can interpret them however you want to and we get to see how your mind works!
My mind, unfortunately, didn’t seem to be working all that well this time around. I couldn’t get past the thought of that children’s book titled, Giggle Giggle Quack by Doreen Cronin! This is one of the boys’ favorite books! The story is too fun and the illustrations are fantastic! A duck is the main character and a rather sneaky one at that!
Stamp: SU Ink: SU (Basic Black, Daffodil Delight) Paper: Paper Trey (white) Accessories: Thickers letter stickers, black gemstones, black marker |
Honestly, I am not very satisfied with this card. While I like the components, I’m not too enthused about how they came together. I decided just to go with it, though, so please forgive me this particular week (pregnancy brain??)! I stamped the giggles twice in two different colors to give them some life. The “quack” is simply some Thickers letter stickers and I couldn’t resist adding the little gemstone-eyed smiley face (although, I’m not so sure it really adds anything…)! Hopefully, you are familiar with the book that inspired it and will go read it just for fun! I know I am going to!
Be sure to take some time to visit the rest of the design team and guest designer blogs to see what prompted their GIGGLEs this week! Then, don’t forget to link up your own creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!
