Did you hear that?!  I think I hear Thanksgiving coming!  I hear plans being made for a big feast, little boys talking excitedly about seeing their cousins & people discussing what they will (or won’t) be shopping for on Black Friday.  I see a packing list forming for filling suitcases, groceries coming in the door for holiday baking and…a new cue word over at CASology!

I’m subconsciously drooling over the food I’m imagining in my head!  I’m also trying to ignore that little voice that is reminding me to eat s-l-o-w-l-y on Turkey Day in hopes of lessening that post meal feeling of being stuffed and lethargic!  Think it will work?  I don’t know.  Turkey, a sweet potato dish, green bean casserole, stuffing, mashed potatoes, bread rolls, fudge, caramel corn, pie…sigh.  Is it any wonder we find the need to set New Year’s resolutions after holidays like this?!

Stamps:  Unity, Elzybells (sentiment – company no longer in business)

I chose to use white on white with just a pop of color.  The polka dot pot is popped up with a foam dot.  I tried to add some embellishments, but kept coming back to this clean design!

Be sure and check out the rest of the design team’s creation, including Donna’s, our guest designer!

Very fun, Melissa. What a great sentiment!! I'm going to have to miss this week's CASology, darn, but I hope to visit the entries.

I send you best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving with those adorable boys and the whole family ~ and that you take that sentiment to heart! That's why God made New Year's Day!! Hearts, Darnell

Love that Unity pot in orange and the sentiment is brilliant! So sad that Elzybells is no longer in business. Make sure you eat an extra bit of turkey and stuffing for me okay? 🙂
