Going Batty
A weekend of birthday fun has come and gone and now it’s on to the first week of school! A bit hard to believe, yet, isn’t summer always this way? Full of fun and seeming too short!
For today’s Prickley Pear creation, I made a Halloween card. My second for the year! With September just around the corner, I can’t help but think about cooler autumn days and all that comes with them!
The bat image and die will both be in the Prickley Pear store soon! |
I started out with just a single bat in the middle of the card and then my brain wouldn’t budge. I abandoned the card on my work table and went off to do other things. When I came back, I just started playing around with different arrangements, not really satisfied with anything! All of a sudden things snapped into place and I came up with this card. Funny how that happens!
It’s off to classroom orientations now! Hoping DS2 warms up to the idea of going back to school. Ah, kindergarten.
Have a marvelous Monday!
