Going on a Picnic
This week’s cue word challenge over at CASology is just perfect!
Whenever I think of a picnic, I always think about those little bees that like to visit our table! If anything remotely sweet is on the menu, they are right there terrorizing our children, causing them to abandon any focus on the food in front of them!

I stamped the drink image, cut it out and popped it up with foam dots. The sentiment was stamped next, followed by the bees. Copic markers were used to add color to the bees and a simple yellow underline. Clear Stickles were applied to the bees’ wings and a dotted flight path was freehanded with a black marker. The lower corner was rounded as a final touch.

Beautiful days are to be ours this week. A wonderful way to wrap up the summer, but it makes it that much harder to accept the more rigid schedule school days bring! Mixed emotions are rearing their heads in our household and I completely understand!

I love that both our thoughts immediately went to insects! LOL!! The touch of glitter on the bees' wings is perfect and I love the yellow underlining the sentiment. Hope all is well with DD. Give her a snuggle from me!
