The Cat’s Pajamas April Release Hop

Today is the day!  It’s time for the April Release Hop over at The Cat’s Pajamas!  So many wonderful new products are waiting in the store!

I’m showcasing the Let There Be Cake set and dies.  It has some fun sentiments incorporated right into the main image.  You can create a cake with the sentiment of your choosing!

I chose a blue and yellow color scheme and decided to add a pop of red just for fun.  Next, I chose Happy Birthday as the sentiment and layered the cake, popping up all components with foam adhesive for dimension.

I used a simple stitched main panel to dress the overall design up just a bit and positioned it on the card base at a slight angle to create a little interest.  To finish off the design, I simply added three silver saucers from the holeless sequin collection.
