TCP #376: Patterned Paper

February is all about the patterned paper over at The Cat’s Pajamas!

With the calendar beginning to show birthdays again, it was time to create a child birthday themed card.  A little pop of polka dotted, purple, patterned paper (say that 5 times fast!) was the perfect highlight for this design!  I used a combination of fun dies in carefully planned places to keep the focus on the special number.  The stars from the topper die were used as embellishments along with some tiny silver stars from one of the shaker mixes in the online store.  Thank goodness for tweezers!  Once the main panel was completed, it was popped up on the card base with foam adhesive.
