TCP #362: Fall

Happy October!  Yes, it’s actually October!  Anyone else amazed at this fact?!

A new month means a brand new challenge over at The Cat’s Pajamas and, this month, it’s everything fall!  I chose to use the new Birch Snowglobe die and some Distress Oxide inks to create a simple fall friendship card.

The snowglobe die was used to die cute the trees in the front of the card.  Distress Oxide inks in two different shades were blended on a piece of white cardstock and then orange colored Stickles were applied with a small brush to add a little subtle sparkle.  Once dry, the piece of cardstock was glued to the back of the card front.  The sentiment is from the May the Forest be with You set and was stamped in black ink.  The tree portion on the die cut piece was attached using foam adhesive to make the snowglobe appear somewhat 3-dimensional.

I love this sentiment and it goes so well with the trees!

I hope you’ll play along with us this month as we head into fall!  I tend to think of oranges and purples as being representative of the season, especially with Halloween just around the corner!  What about you?
