CASology WATER
It feels so great to be playing along again with the CASology challenge this week! I’ve been missing quite a few weeks lately due to summer life events and I’m almost ready to say I’m in the mood for the slow down of autumn days. Almost. I have a little bit of summer in me yet.
The current challenge focuses on WATER and I couldn’t help but think about a bubble bath. I’m in dire need of one, waking up with a sore neck and shoulder several days lately and I’m not sure if I’m sleeping weird or what, but it’s not fun! School is starting next week and I may just have to indulge in a soak…something I very rarely do! This feline sure makes it look tempting!
It seems like I have an overabundance of washi tape from back when I used to collect the stuff. I discovered a wider, pretty patterned one and put it to use for a little paper piecing action. Who doesn’t like a pretty tub?! The bubbles were created by stamping the image a second time on a piece of scrap cardstock and fussy cutting.
Diamond Stickles were brushed on to add a little sparkle and then the piece was popped up with foam adhesive for dimension. A trio of additional bubbles were stamped in black along with the sentiment.
I hope you’ll join us for this challenge! You have two weeks to create a CAS card and link up to the gallery! STAMPlorations is sponsoring us and, by playing along, you’ll have a chance to win $25 off your next online order with them!
Don’t forget to go say hello to the rest of the design team members and our guest designer! They’d love to hear from you!
