TCP #361: Layer Up!

Happy September!  A new month means a brand new challenge over at The Cat’s Pajamas and we’re going to Layer Up! this month!  How appropriate is that for September as the temperatures begin their downward trend toward autumn and winter?!

As a clean & simple designer, this layer thing took some thought!  I settled on layering the Beaches Cut Ups die and trees from the new Nature’s Christmas Tree set.  Three tree images were stamped in green ink and fussy cut before Diamond Stickles were painted on to add a little sparkle.  While those dried, two pieces of landscape were cut and layered on the card base using two different thicknesses of foam adhesive.  Once the trees were dry, these were adhered to the design with foam adhesive also.  The sentiment and the star (from the Sketchy Santas set) were both stamped in black ink.
