TCP #366: Furry Friends

March.  A new month!  How did that happen again so quickly?!  I can’t say I’m disappointed.  There is something about the promise of spring the month of March holds.  I’ve heard a few morning birds return and it makes me so happy!

This month over at The Cat’s Pajamas, we’re focusing on furry animals!  Spring brings with it lots of new life, including baby animals.  Bunnies, of course, make the top of the list.

Using the new Make Tea set, I used an adorable, coffee-drinking bunny as the main image for a design.  Wanting to add some subtle texture, I created the main panel with a piece of watercolor cardstock.  The bunny image was stamped and colored with Copic markers before being fussy cut and popped up on the main panel, extending just over the edge.  The bold sentiment was stamped in black ink near the center of the panel.  The main panel was then adhered to the card base at a slight angle with more foam adhesive to add even more dimension and a little interest..  To finish off the design, a small flower sequin from one of TCP’s confetti mixes was added.
