The Cat’s Pajamas Christmas Baking Sneak Peek!
Another day of sneak peeks is happening over at The Cat’s Pajamas! Today, it’s all about the baking!
Introducing the Roll with It set and coordinating dies! With holidays involving lots of food and baking appearing on the horizon, this set is sure to be a hit! Besides, any set that involves cupcakes is good in my book!
As a clean & simple designer, I’m always looking for ways to simplify the design process. Selective coloring on an image is a good option. I colored the cupcakes with Copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating die. For the bunny, I chose to selectively paper piece in order to add a pop of color. Once assembled, I simply popped the image up with foam adhesive, grounding it with some colorful polka dotted washi tape. The fun sentiment was stamped in black ink.
I never pass up the opportunity to lick the bowl, do you?! Problem is, I now have to compete with my children for the privilege. I’m learning to take turns.
Next up, we’re introducing some fun Christmas Cookie Cut Ups. There are so many fun options with these as they have little details you can vary the colors on to get creative! I chose to keep my little house cookie more neutral in color, but you could totally jazz it up a bit with fun colors to make it look like you’ve put in a full afternoon of decorating cookies!
I mixed white and kraft cardstocks to create the house, popping it up on the card base with foam adhesive to add a little dimension. I applied a thin layer of Stickles to the door for a little sparkle. The sentiment is from the pretty Winter Style set and is stamped in black.
