The Cat’s Pajamas January Release Blog Hop

I decided to use the new Welcome Gnome set.  I’m a bit over winter now that January is about done and this set makes me think of garden gnomes that I often see hanging out in people’s yards and gardens during the warmer months.  Since a brand new grass die was released too, I paired the two products to come up with a very clean & simple design.

The little gnome was stamped and fussy cut before being colored with Copic markers.  I used a Copic colorless blender to create the little polka dots on the hat.  Who doesn’t like polka dots?!  The gnome and grass die cut were both popped up with foam adhesive for dimension.  The simple sentiment was stamped in the lower right corner of the design and some simple stars from the Spring Confetti Mix were applied to accompany the little bird and heart images.

I’m now dreaming of mowing the lawn and keeping my eye out for bluebirds.
