…fresh raspberries.
…mowing the lawn.
…a fresh coat of paint.
…the sound of tree frogs at sunset.
…licking the cookie dough off a beater.
…bomb pops.
…fireworks.
…the imagination of children.

I am not as “with you” on this list as usual. Mowing the lawn or even smelling a lawn makes me sneeze!! And the only experience that I have had with frogs was a visit to Virginia when one evening I was hearing a noise that sounded like something out of a horror movie. The whole house seemed to vibrate with this strange sound. Nobody else seemed at all disturbed so I was seriously questioning my sanity. Finally I asked, they laughed, pulled back the curtains on the sliding glass doors and the entire door plus the patio beyond was covered with frogs. I've hated that sound ever since!! (But I am glad to see that someone else still eats the cookie dough! It's the best part!)
I LOVE these “Happiness Is” posts! I use to do, “It's the little things” post, and they were always a good reminder that happiness is usually the little things. Thanks for the reminder to look around at all that happiness IS.
