Happy Anniversary
Today is my parents’ wedding anniversary. Forty-two years, to be exact! In honor of the occasion, I put together a card for them using a neutral color (SU’s River Rock) for the base that I don’t choose very often. I grabbed it again after using it for Dynamic Duos’ current color challenge. I decided I should practice using it because it really is a nice color!
Colors: SU’s Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, River Rock, white |
I wanted to create a zig zag (a.k.a. chevron) stripe to go along with the heart. Since I didn’t have an actual chevron stripe die, I cut two strips of cardstock using the Pinking Border Die from The Cat’s Pajamas and staggered them back to back.
Have yourself a great Tuesday!

Awww happy anniversary wishes to your sweet parents Melissa! I LOVE your chevron idea with the zig zag…FUN! And your little dotted swiss heart is my favorite part!
Like the way you did the chevron strip and love this wonderful card! Know your parents will to. So pretty and a great color combo.
