Happy Birthday, Cupcake!
Today there is a birthday in our house. Since we’re not having the official party until the weekend, I thought I could get by making a girly card instead of the needed masculine one! I’ve been instructed to finish a birthday card that somebody started for himself, so that should be fun! Isn’t that half the creative process…getting started?
I love it when I have an excuse to make a cupcake card and this week’s Clean & Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers is to use a cupcake on a card! I was smiling as soon as I read it! Here’s what I came up with:
Supplies:
Stamps – SU (Create a Cupcake set)
Paper – Gina K white CS, SU Basic Gray, Melon Mambo & Brushed Silver cardstocks
Ink – SU Basic Gray & Melon Mambo
Accessories – pink rain dots (Cloud 9 Design), SU cupcake punch, pink gemstone, Stickles (Diamond), Nestabilities (square), foam squares (popped up cupcake & silver square)
