Happy Day Bunnies
I had a little spare time to spend in my craft room over the holiday and managed to create a card not associated with any design team assignments or challenges! We’d gone to visit a couple that we consider one of our ‘adopted grandparents’ over the weekend and I wanted to send a quick note to them to express how much we enjoyed our visit! They happen to like coffee quite a bit and these bunnies from Mama Elephant caught my eye! Aren’t they adorable?!
I used two dies from a Mama Elephant die set to create the little cut out circle and main panel detailing. The main panel was die cut first and then I cut the circle out of the middle using a circle die from the same die set. I placed a piece of washi tape directly on the card base, aligning it with where the circle would be once the main panel was adhered. The bunnies were die cut with corresponding dies and colored with Copic markers. I added a touch of sparkle to the coffee cups. The bunnies were then popped up over the washi tape using foam adhesive. Once the little scene was complete, the sentiment was stamped in black ink on the main panel. The main panel was then adhered to the card base to frame the bunnies. Such an adorable pair, no?!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
