Happy Everything
It’s time for a new cue word challenge over at CASology and this week it’s all about the shopping! This time of year fills the stores with shoppers and, personally, I try to go to town as little as possible until after the new year! Thank goodness for online shopping! If you’re anything like me, I do a quick mental check for events I may have missed throughout the year and find a few things that need attention! This year, I have a few wedding anniversaries that whooshed by me and it’s time I got serious about sending some belated greetings. One of these days I’ll have it all together! Maybe.

This card will make it pretty easy for me to make up for lost time on missed events, don’t you think?!
I stamped the little delivery truck, fussy cut it and then popped it up with some foam dots for a little dimension. I added a gemstone to the headlight and some Crystal Effects to the window to give it some realistic shine (…although, MY windows are rarely that shiny!). The exhaust has some silver Stickles added just because I like a little sparkle wherever I can work it in!

This week is keeping me hopping! Thanksgiving is at our house this year and I’m one of those people that likes to have things pretty well planned out on paper so that my mind isn’t overwhelmed with everything that needs done. I have a list going for each day leading up to the feast. Yesterday threw a curveball snowball at me by dumping 3 inches of snow on us. My snow shoveling muscles were discovered again and they are talking to me today. DS1 & DS2 do not have school tomorrow and will be recruited for the cause. Their abilities to cook and fold laundry will be put to good use! I’m rather enjoying myself, really! I love having family around and am looking forward to the love and laughter that always walks in the door with them.

And I used to have all my washi tape stacked up too but after knocking it over one to many times I begged Luis for a shelf. He always acts like he's just gonna knock something together and then it turns out looking great!

Melissa, I thought of using that stamp set, too…but you are brilliant in making the truck a UPS truck! SO cute and clever!!! I can't believe tou have already had snow…I'm not ready for that yet!
