Harvest Time
Soon, the farmers will be busy harvesting crops in the fields around here and the deer will be running around a little more than usual trying to avoid the tractors and combines that go rumbling through their surroundings! Watch out drivers!
I created a one layer card for this week’s challenge. I had a wheat image that I wanted to use and this is what I came up with by varying the height of the image across the card:
One simple image. One simple sentiment. One simple card. Gotta love clean and simple design! Be sure and visit the rest of the design team members’ blogs as well as our guest designer’s blog for even more CAS inspiration! Then, don’t forget to link up your own creation on the CASology challenge blog by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!
DS2 came home from school with a low grade fever yesterday afternoon. Hoping whatever bug he caught leaves quickly and that no one else in the family gets bit! We’re heading on into the cold/flu season, so need to stock up on chicken noodle soup, elderberry syrup and zinc/elderberry lozenges! I really prefer not to have to run to the store while feeling sick, so preparations are underway to be fully stocked for possible sick days!

Love this one layer card! It is just so perfect for the cue card!
This OLC is awesome, colors are pure bliss, love it!! Your card was certainly an inspiration, though I don't think I have such a lovely maize color, I will have to look around! I went with Encore Metallic Bronze, so there is a real life shimmer. Hope you all feel better soon, and you dodge it!!
Perfect CAS card Melissa, love the wispy wheat! Sorry your little guy is under the weather, hope he feels better soon 😉
So pretty. Love the base card you have used. It goes perfectly with the stamped image
