Heart Melt
Thanksgiving preparations have officially begun in our household! Every year, we bake the pies for the special feast and over the weekend, DH stopped by the local orchard to pick up the necessary apples! I’m so excited to get started! We’re baking two apple and one pumpkin pie this year. My dear mother is bringing a French Silk pie, one of my favorites!
Looking at this week’s weather forecast, it looks like Thanksgiving may actually be a gorgeous day with temperatures up near 70 degrees! In November! I’m overjoyed! Not just because it’s Thanksgiving and the kids will be able to enjoy outdoor play, but because I’m supposed to do a maternity photo shoot over the holiday too! So happy the weather is going to cooperate!
With no snow in the forecast yet, I felt safe making a snowman card.
Stamps: Paper Smooches |
I cut the snowman out after adding a little color with Copic markers and then popped him up with a foam dot. I added gemstones to the stamped snowflakes and a touch of red ribbon to the upper portion of the card. Snow much fun!
I hope your week is off to a great start! Have a marvelous Monday!
