Hello Flower
The weekend is off to a rather warm start here where I am! We’ve had so many days of heat and dryness that the grass is looking rather sick! Oh, what we would give for a downpour right now. One that would last at least a couple days! We can’t have everything, though, can we? We’ll just endure this dry spell and hope for better days ahead! Besides, what else can we do?! Mother Nature has a mind of her own! With it being so hot, I’ve had guiltless ink and paper time indoors. (See…it’s not all bad!)
Today is a fresh new color duo over at Dynamic Duos: Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive! I put together a simple hello card for the occasion!

I chose to use Basic Gray as a neutral this week for a change! I love using it in the winter months, but I think it just might work for the warmer months too if paired with some brighter colors!
Be sure and visit the other design team members’ blogs as they have some wonderful inspiration for you this week!
Today is DS1’s eighth birthday, so ice cream cake is in store! So happy he chose that over a baked cake this summer! It feels enough like an oven outside the way it is!
Have a happy weekend!

Catching up on a few blogs…you've been doing great with you card creating endeavors! I have several to make now that we are back home. Happy birthday to DS1…an icecream cake sounds wonderful…want to get one of those sometime this summer for a family treat!

I absolutely LOVED this when I first saw it and now I can tell you again! Love how those colors seem to jump off the gray backgrund. The layout is fantastic, too. Hugs! 🙂
