Honey Bee Stamps Die Cut Thanks
Hello! I’m back with a little Honey Bee Stamps inspiration using a word die on a clean & simple design!
I used a white 5×5 cardbase for this design. A piece of white cardstock was cut into a 4×4 size and then the stitched square was die cut in the middle of it using one of the dies in the Honey Bee Stamps’ Double Stitched Square Die set. Rather than using the middle square from the resulting cut, I used the outer stitched frame. I then cut a 4×4 square from a piece of kraft cardstock and adhered then stamped multiple leaves from the Bushel and a Peck stamp set in white on it. Once those were dry, I adhered the narrow white frame directly to the kraft piece. Next, I die cut the word twice. The Thanks die comes with two dies, one is bold and thick. The second die is more of a script font and much more delicate. I die cut the bolder one in black and the delicate on in kraft and then glued them together. I used foam adhesive to adhere the assembled word to the main panel. The finished design was then adhered to the card base using more foam adhesive to give the overall design some nice dimension.
I don’t know about you, but autumn weather somehow makes me reach for kraft cardstock. Loving this change when creating designs this time of year! I’m sure I’ll ease back to completely white designs as the snow begins to fly, but I’m enjoying the warmth that kraft cardstock brings to designs!
Enjoy the rest of your day!
