Honey Bee Stamps Winter Wishes
I’m not much of a winter person to begin with and I’m not really feeling any serious kind of autumn/winter creativity kicking in quite yet, but for some reason, I had a winter card design idea hit me while brainstorming for today’s Honey Bee share!
My eyes settled on Honey Bee Stamps’ Cloud Borders dies and I started playing. I ended up using three different cloud dies from the set on a 3×3 piece of white cardstock, leaving them snuggled together after being cut. I glued them all to a second piece of 3×3 cardstock and then added a little shimmer with some white Heidi Swapp Color Shine spray. Next, I stamped the little top hat from the Flakey Friends set in black and added a little holly berry & leaf accent, applying a touch of red Stickles to the berries. The assembled hat was popped up on the main panel using foam adhesive for dimension. The simple sentiment was stamped in black directly onto the main panel. Three clear sequins were added as embellishments and then the finished main panel was popped up on a 5×5 card base.
I had the Frosty the Snowman song skipping through my mind as I made this! Snow can stay away for now, but this card did make me smile!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
