Honey Bee Typewriter Smile
Typewriters are intriguing to me. I learned to type on one and I think my first office job in high school involved a bit of typing on one, but beyond that, I think computers took over! I love the little typewriter stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps and was inspired to make a quick, clean and simple design with it this week!
I die cut the main panel from black cardstock with a stitched rectangle die from the A2 die set and then spritzed it to give it a little shimmer and a splattered look. I stamped and cut out the typewriter, coloring it with Copic markers. A little sparkle was added to the yellow areas with a clear glitter brush marker.
The simple sentiment is from the Beautiful Life set. I added tiny stars and yellow sequins from the Honey Bee sequin mix. The typewriter was popped up on the main panel using foam adhesive and then the main panel was also popped up on the card base.
This typewriter is so adorable and I’m planning on coloring multiples in all different colors with lots of different sentiments!
I hope you’ve had a wonderful Thursday!
