I {Heart} Chevron
I don’t know what has come over me this summer, but I think I’m totally infatuated with chevron! I don’t usually get too taken up with fads, but the chevron bug has bitten me hard! Everywhere I look, I see it…and love it! Hmm…why haven’t I created a Pinterest folder for it yet?!
Today’s birthday card is chevron inspired and I designed it for this week’s Clean & Simple challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. We were to use navy, olive and white.
The chevron pattern (Hero Arts) is stamped in SU’s Night of Navy and the sentiment (Paper Trey) is stamped in Old Olive. The ribbon is a retired one from Stampin’ Up. A quick card, but that’s exactly what I need in the middle of summer!
I hope your week is off to a good start! Tomorrow is the 4th of July here in the USA, so we’re gearing up for a day of family fun!

Fantastic, I love the simplicity of your card, the ribbon is so pretty.
I have not leapt onto the chevron trend bandwagon (actually, there's a few I haven't leapt onto – I always seem to be late to trend parties!). However, I Heart this card – pure CASology! 😉
Perfection! Love the look of the chevrons too.

Oooh…I love your use of the chevron…it's amazing how little else you need for a very fun card!!
