Leaf Greeting
Today is the introduction of a new cue word over at CASology! This week, we’re focusing on the word LEAF. With the leaves turning all different colors around here, I’m definitely in a leafy mood…whatever that could mean. Absolutely loving the beauty of autumn!
For a “leaf” card, I chose to use an SU set I’ve had in my stash for quite a while: Betsy’s Blossoms. I hadn’t thought of using the leaf stem by itself before. Usually, I pair it with the bird in the set. I love it when the cue words for the challenge encourage me to use images in new ways!
Stamps: SU, Verve (sentiment) |
This is as simple as it gets! I stamped the leaf image in the lower right corner of a kraft card, the sentiment above and below the stem and added a cluster of gemstones to finish things off. Quick. Simple. Clean.

This is beautiful, Melissa! I love how it's all understated – the card stock, the image, the sentiment, and the tiny bling.
