It’s still snowing…and b l o w i n g! School is cancelled and the boys and I are spending some time in the warm indoors after exploring the great outdoors for a while!  We have baking on our list of to do’s, so soon the house will be smelling divine!  Banana bread and cut out cookies, here we come!

While the boys were sipping their hot chocolate, I zipped into my craft room and made a super quick (3 minutes!), clean and simple snowflake card!  I just couldn’t resist!

Stamps:  Verve (snowflake), The Craft’s Meow (sentiment)

I stamped the snowflake and sentiment in Encore Silver ink and then added a single gemstone to the snowflake’s center.  The striped border at the bottom is simply a piece of washi tape!  You can’t get much easier than that!

I am linking this quick card up with CAS-ual Friday’s “Dashing Thru the Holidays” challenge…

Now I’m off to get the oven warming and some goodies mixed up!  “The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful!  Let it snow!  Let it snow!  Let it snow!”

Have a wonderful Thursday!

LOVE this sweet and simple card. You know the saying “less is more”? TOTALLY true for this beauty!

Oh my, those pictures of snow are so beautiful! While I personally don't like being out in it, I think it's beautiful to look at. I'm sure your boys are enjoying it so much!

Thank you for joining in my 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge. I hope that you have a very wonderful Christmas!

What a beautiful CAS snow card you made. I especially like that you used Washi tape. As I have become a collector, I am now trying to become a user as well. You are so lucky to get snow–it looks beautiful. Also, I just saw that I won your contest! I'll send you an email.

Fabulous card Melissa! I love that bit of washi tape. Let me tell ya, it sure looks cold. We have our cold front coming through and will have lows near freezing. Our high of 80 sure was nice today. Enjoy your baking yummies! Thanks for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!

How I envy your snowstorm! We are getting rain and wind (wicked sounding, high gusts), but I'd rather have the cozy snowed-in feeling. Sounds like you're having a fun snow day! Love that super CAS card you squeezed in!

This is beautiful Melissa! I love the washi tape and the grey on white color combo! Three minutes would be a record for me. LOVE THIS!!!

The snow pictures are beautiful too! I'm hoping we get a little more than the dusting we have for Christmas.
