Love Note
Happy Monday! After a full weekend, I’m hoping to get a little time in the craft room to work on some cards I need to make. It’s been a bit harder to convince myself to go down and work on paper crafting when the weather outside has been absolutely gorgeous for this time of year! Sixty degrees (Farenheit) in February?! I’ll take it!
I had whipped up this card around Valentine’s Day, but haven’t shared it until now because the recipient happens to be active in the paper crafting community!
The heart die cut is Simon Says Stamp’s Heart of Flowers Wafer Die and the main panel was die cut with one of their Stitched Rectangles Dies. The simple sentiment is from the Poppy Stamps Love Note set. I watercolored the background panel with red and turquoise paint and spritzed it with Heidi Swapp’s White Color Shine Spray for a little shimmer. The heart panel is popped up over the watercoloring with foam dots. I love that you can vary the background with this pretty die simply by using different colors and techniques! I can’t wait to play with it more!
It looks like it’s going to be a rainy day today, so my wish may come true and I’ll find myself making crafty messes here in a little bit! First, coffee.
Have a marvelous Monday!
