Lovebirds
It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps! This is the sketch:
You don’t have to use Prickley Pear stamps to join in the fun! You can use any of the stamps you have in your stash and you’ll be in the running for a gift certificate to the store! The deadline is December 31.
I used some rather non-traditional colors on my card for the challenge. I really like orange and gray together, so put them to use on this sweet little card. I’ve been wanting to use these cute lovebirds for a while now and finally found a home for them on these pine needles from the Holly and Berries Clear Stamps Set! I added clear Stickles to the pine for some winter sparkle and fussy cut around them. These little birds will be used for cards after the holidays have passed! They’re just so sweet!
Supplies:
Paper – SU Basic Gray, Very Vanilla & Tangerine Tango CS, My Mind’s Eye DP
Ink – SU Basic Gray
Accessories – gemstones, Stickles, linen thread, foam adhesive (popped up birds and pines)
Coloring – colored pencils, blender pen

This is just gorgeous, Melissa! I LOVE the combo of papers and colors you put together, and love how you used the bird and pine image. Really awesome take on this month's PPRS sketch!
