Monster Party
While playing in the craft room with the boys, I came up with a fun little card for the Sweet Stamp Shop’s Use What You Have Challenge #20. We are to use our stamps in creative ways this week!
I started out using the Fall Gratitude set. The tree tops and limbs were used to create the monsters, and googly eyes were added from my stash of embellishments (see photo below). The finished creatures were popped up with foam dots for dimension. Gold star sequins were then added along with lots of fun shapes from the Starts Here set. The sentiment is from the Cityscape set. To finish things up, I added a tiny dot of Stickles to the center of the hexagons and stars. These monsters are really having fun!!!
Here’s a portion of my embellishment stash:
I keep different shapes and clear gemstones in this drawer and the rest I have organized by color in these ClosetMaid bins:
DS1 (a.k.a. Chef BOY-ardee) says lunch is ready (homemade pizza!), so off I go! We hope to go soak up a little sunshine this afternoon and grab some crisp autumn air!
