Mother of Mondays
I created a card for this week’s color challenge over on the Clean & Simple Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. We are to use hot pink, gray, navy and white.
I envisioned a big, pink flower and went from there. I just love this set from Uniko Studio! The chrysanthemum is so pretty! I used the flower and leaf dies and layered the cut images over the chevron stripes. This would be a good Mother’s Day card, but I may just use it before then as a little happy mail!
It’s on to preparing for upcoming weekend company. DH’s parents are coming up to see DD for the first time! It’s their only granddaughter, so this will be extra special! Can’t wait to see them and introduce them to her! The boys are pretty excited and will be counting down the school days until they come! First, however, I need to unpack suitcases and tackle Mt. Washmore!

Sounds like a GOOD weekend Melissa! Love your pretty pink flower and I had to giggle at Mt. Washmore!!
Oh how wonderful! I'm sure they can't wait to meet their granddaughter! Your card is beautiful! Sounds like you had a PERFECT weekend!
Gorgeous and striking! I love that pop of the flower against the soft grey leaves. Hope Mt. Washmore is under control now!
