A Muse Studio August Collection New Release Day!

Today is release day over at A Muse Studio and you’re going to love it all!

I created a modern looking design for the first card in my post today.  It reminds me a little of some of the decor in the hotels these days with bold color blocks!  I simply cut three strips of varying colors (Orange, Grass, Buttercup) to create a square main panel, adhering them to a square piece of Sugar cardstock.  Once assembled, I stamped a row of three leaves (Bouquet Builder set) on the center of the panel.  The main panel was then popped up on the card base (5×5) with foam adhesive for dimension and the simple sentiment was stamped below and slightly to the right.

For my second card, I used the ice cream cone image from the You’re Cool stamp set.

I simply stamped three cones, die cut them using the coordinating dies and colored them by spritzing each one with a different color Splash spray!  Super easy coloring!  Once dry, I colored the cone portion with a brown Copic marker and applied a little glitter to the ice cream using a clear Wink of Stella brush marker.  The cones were then popped up with foam adhesive and the banner sentiment (from the same set) was stamped below in black ink.
