A Muse Studio: Combining New & Older Stamps!
Happy first day of the week! I’m back with more inspiration using more of the brand new A Muse Studio new release! This time I combined images from a new set with one from an older set!
The little chick is from a previously released set called Tiptoe Through the Tulips and coordinates so nicely with the newest sets! I just couldn’t resist combining them on a card! The grass and leaf sprig are from the new Sweet Easter set. I used Grass and Orange inks for these. I colored the grass and flower centers (Neon Yellow ink) by simply dipping a watercolor brush in the ink and gently applying it to the images. The chick was stamped twice in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, once directly on the card base and again onto the new Bermuda Petite Gingham cardstock.
The gingham image was cut out and adhered to the image on the card base. The beak was colored with a Copic marker. I stamped the sweet little sentiment on a rectangular piece of Sugar cardstock and attached it to the card base using foam adhesive for dimension. To finish off the design, I freehanded some little bird footprints with a black marker.
I have had so much fun with this new release and can’t wait to share more inspiration tomorrow! I hope you’re having a good weekend!
Have a relaxing Sunday!
