A Muse Studio June Collection

Have you checked out the A Muse Studio June Collection yet in the online store?!  This new release is just adorable with a mermaid, narwhal, whale and other sea creatures just waiting to be inked up and used on those summer paper crafting projects!

I had so much fun creating clean & simple designs with the new sets and thought I’d share a couple of them today!  For my first card, I used the two adorable fish from the Let’s Be Mermaids set.  I cut a thin line for a wave using Mermaid cardstock and one of the Landscape Dies.  The fish were watercolored using a water brush and Ocean and Mermaid and Papaya pigment inks.  The fish we cut out using the coordinating dies for the stamp set and popped up with foam adhesive.  The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and three Twinkle stickers were added as embellishments beneath the wave.  The finished main panel was popped up on the Sugar cardstock base.

For my second card, I used the True Blue Friend set.

The whale was stamped in Ocean ink and cut out using the stamp set’s coordinating dies.  I cut out a wave using Mermaid cardstock and one of the stitched Landscape Dies, trimming to fit the main panel.  I die cut the sentiment using the Hello word die and Polka Dot Papaya Cardstock.  A single clear Twinkle Sticker was added as the whale’s eye before the whale was popped up using foam adhesive.

The assembled main panel was popped up with foam adhesive on the Sugar cardstock base.
