A Muse Studio October Collection New Release!
Happy Monday! I wonder if you’ve had time to check out the A Muse Studio new release yet? If not, you’ll want to go take a look at all the new things in the online store! There’s some fantastic winter/holiday themed goodness with this release!
I thought I’d group a few card designs together for today’s post to showcase some of the fun ways to use the little trees in the new release!
For my first design, I used three different tree images stamped in the same Grass ink color and cut out with the coordinating dies. I used a stitched rectangle die (Tag Bundle Die Set) to create the main panel and attached the trees to the main panel using foam adhesive. The sentiment was stamped in black below the tree images. The assembled main panel was then attached to the card base using more foam adhesive.
For my second design, I used the tree from the Season’s Tweetings die set, cutting out a little tree from some Fern Felt.
I glued this directly onto the main panel, which was die cut using a stitched rectangle die from the Tag Bundle Die Set. The simple sentiment is from the Pining for You set and was stamped in black ink below the felt tree. I then added three clear sequins to complete the design on the main panel. The assembled main panel was then popped up on the Sugar cardstock base using foam adhesive.
My final design combines the Pining for You and Season’s Tweetings sets to create a winter themed card.
I stamped the penguin in black Memento ink and added a touch of red with a Copic marker before cutting it out with a coordinating die. A trio of overlapping trees was stamped on the card base and then the penguin was popped up on top of them using foam adhesive. A simple sentiment was added in Versafine black ink and then three clear sequins were added as embellishments.
So many cute critters and wonderful holiday images in this new release! I’ll be back with more October Collection inspiration this week, but for now, be sure and visit the A Muse Studio blog and Instagram page for more inspiration!
