One Hundred!
Yes, things are looking a bit different here today! I have been wanting a cleaner look on my blog and decided to give myself an early birthday present! Cindy at Blessed Design Studio did a fantastic job and I’m going to be keeping her on my list for future blog designs, should I ever need another!

One hundred. That’s how many entries we had for last week’s Happy Challenge at CASology! To say I am thrilled would be an understatement! All I can say is, “THANK YOU!” to all those who have made this such a fun experience!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a new cue word at CASology:
I’ve been wanting to use some cherry images from my stash for quite some time now and this was the perfect opportunity to dig them out!
Stamps: SU (Mouthwatering), C.C. Designs (sentiment) |
I decided to use a kraft card base this time, stamping the cherries directing on the cardstock with SU’s Cherry Cobbler ink (perfect color for this, huh?!). I embossed a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and ran it through the Cuttlebug machine with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then trimmed a very narrow piece off of it and adhered it to my card base as a divider between my image and sentiment. Last, I stamped the sentiment. A very easy card!
The design team has some wonderful cards to share this week too, so be sure to visit their blogs if you have the time!
Hope to see you at CASology this week!

Love your 'cherry' card! That strip of cherry with the embossing ties it all together, while still leaving all the 'breathing space'!
