Orange You Glad it’s November?
I don’t know about you, but for some reason this color seems to represent October and November for me. Maybe it’s the candy corn pumpkin mix that keeps replenishing itself on my counter, the jack-o-lanterns that grin on the neighborhood doorsteps, the leaves falling from the trees or just the thought of all the orange food that graces the Thanksgiving table. I could go on and on, but I think you get where I’m coming from?!
Orange has also become my second favorite color over the last few years. I’m not really sure why since my favorite color happens to be blue! Quite the opposites, really! For my card this week, I chose to focus on the color itself and remembered a cute stamp set I had stashed away from The Stamps of Life!
I was reliving that childhood memory of the heavenly smell of crayons while making this card! Isn’t that one of those smells we never forget?! Brings a smile to my face. Every. Single. Time.
Be sure and visit the rest of the design team blogs, including Jean, our guest designer this week! Then, don’t forget to link up your own ORANGE creation on the challenge blog by Sunday, November 11, at noon (CST)! Hope to see you there!
