Pond Memories
Today is the beginning of a new cue word challenge over at CASology and this week the word is POND!
I had to create something with little fish on it! I always managed to catch sunfish when fishing. I thought they were pretty…for a fish! I decided to use blue fish on my card just because I like the color blue with white (a good reason, right?). I used a textured cardstock this week to give things a little character. The fish panel is matted on SU’s Pacific Point cadstock and then popped up with foam dots. I tried adding some simple embellishments, but ended up deciding it was too much and left them off!
I hope you join us at CASology if you find time to craft this week! We love seeing all the entries each week!

Melissa your fish are just too cute! Fun fun sentiment. I think the blue is so fitting!
Great CAS card – one colour, one (or two) repeated images – perfect!
Cute, cute, cute!!!

Beautiful CAS card. Love it!
I really love the simplicity of this. And, of course, your fishy visual triangle.
sweet card, melissa… the little fishies are so cute!
CASfection!!
Hi Melissa, thanks for your kind comments on my CAS card. Your pic of blueberries makes me hungry. Lovely blog. Hugs, Bev
Blue fish, Blue fish, Blue fish…..I think you're re-written Dr. Suess in the form of a great card 🙂
I remember fishing in the pond near our house. I wouldn't touch the fish either. Your blue fish are sweet!
A great CAS card ~ its amazing how much matting adds to a card!
