Royally Challenged
My mind immediately went to all those regal things we take a great interest in: jewels, fine robes, scepters, etc. I was feeling a bit rebellious, though, not wanting to do the obvious. I finally compromised with myself and used a simple crown, the color purple (a symbol of royalty) and a sentiment I feel represents the overall aura of royalty. However, in this case, the sentiment is referring to an individual celebrating a birthday!
Stamps: My Favorite Things Paper: Paper Trey cardstock (white) Ink: SU Accessories: clear gemstones, foam dot, corner rounder |
I masked off a square and then sponged with three different colors of purple. I then stamped the sentiment and popped up the crown image, adding tiny gemstones as embellishments. I finished things off by rounding the upper right corner of the card.
