Star
Being Tuesday, it’s time for a brand new cue word over at CASology! This week, we’re going for something magical from the sky!
I don’t know about you, but I find the stars to be rather mysterious. Magical. Dreamy. Must just be the little girl in me?
I decided to use some more of SU’s Brushed Silver cardstock. (Yes, really!) I embossed a panel of white cardstock with a star pattern and then cut out a portion of a banner image from the left side. In the negative space, I stamped the sentiment and decided it was finished! Easy as ever!
In all your spare time this week (*snicker*), be sure and visit the rest of the design team and guest designer blogs because there is a lot of inspiration to be found! Then, be sure and link up your own creation on the challenge blog by Sunday at noon (CST)!
Have yourself a terrific Tuesday!

Love this take on the star – not a star stamp in sight!
This is so creative, I love the embossing and that you cut the banner out of the front panel.
This is so cute, Melissa! I really like that the banner was cut from the top layer! Thanks for allowing me to be the guest designer this week! 🙂
Gorgeous. Love the embossing.
Very elegant! Love the negative cut banner.
so this card is absolutely BRILLIANT, melissa!! love the embossed background and the way you used the negative space!!
Yes, I agree to the word Brilliant as a word for this card.
Wow, that embossing is breathtaking! Wowza!
It's genius how you cut the sentiment panel from the embossed panel! Effective, and so pretty!!
