Summer Defined

I don’t know about you, but summer is coming to a close much too quickly for my liking! I was thinking about summer and what it means to our family today and came up with a few things I think could summarize it for us.
Summer is sparklers and sprinklers.
Summer is lightning and thunder.
Summer is late nights and slowed down mornings.
Summer is discovering where we forgot to rub on the sunscreen.
Summer is vacation time.
Summer is mud.
Summer is bike rides and leisurely family walks.
Summer is fresh picked blueberries.
Summer is sand between our toes.
Summer is a blink that happens so quickly you can hardly tell the difference between where it began & where it ended.
