Take Care
There is a new cue word over at CASology and, this week, we’re taking some time to show how much we care!
I created a simple card as a little token of encouragement for someone I know who is going through a tough time right now. We all go through experiences that challenge us and it really does help to know someone is thinking of us and cares. It was never intended for us to face life alone and sometimes I have to remind myself to tell someone I care. This week’s cue word is the perfect reminder!
Stamps: SU Paper: SU cardstock (Real Red), Paper Trey cardstock (kraft) Ink: SU (Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black) Accessories: foam dots, red gemstones |
I stamped the umbrella in three different colors and pieced it together, popping up each section with a portion of a foam dot. I added the tiny red gemstones to the cascading hearts. I then layered the main panel a little off center over a piece of red cardstock to add a pop of color and a bit of a frame. The layered panels are popped up with foam dots.
Be sure and visit the rest of the design team’s blogs for more wonderful inspiration and then don’t forget to link up your own CARE creation on the challenge blog by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!
