TCP Tuesday #356: Spring

The April challenge has begun over at The Cat’s Pajamas!  Spring is in the air!

I decided to frame spring with the new Rectangular Stamp Die.  It was die cut twice using both white and kraft cardstock so that I could use white for the center.  The die set includes a pretty leaf die and that was used to die cut three leaves out of some green decorative paper.  The leaves were adhered directly to the white panel and then two flower sequins from the Confetti Mix were added as embellishments.  The sentiment is from the new Year of the Pig set and was stamped in black ink.  To finish the design, I used two different thicknesses of foam adhesive to adhere the two pieces of the frame to the card base.  This allowed the inner portion to set back a little from the outer frame piece.
