The Cat’s Pajamas Sneaky Peek: Jungle Boogie!
It’s Day 4 of Sneaky Peek Week over at The Cat’s Pajamas! Today, we’re introducing the new adorable Jungle Boogie set!
If I had to choose a favorite jungle animal, it would have to be a giraffe! Such wonderful creatures! We’ve had the opportunity to feed them many times taking the kids to zoos.
I chose to use some watercolor cardstock/paper as my card base as I wanted to create a simple design with a little watercoloring as the background. The background was watercolored first in yellow and a light tan color. I stamped the giraffe image and applied watercolors to it also. Then, it was fussy cut and the lower portion of the body was adhered to the card base. I wanted to keep the head and neck free and add a little dimension with foam adhesive! I die cut a little picture frame using one of the dies from the Rectangular Stamp Die set and popped it up to frame the giraffe’s head.
To finish the design, the sentiment was stamped at an angle in black ink and three Silver Saucer Holeless Sequins were added as embellishments.
Be sure and take some time to comment on each of the designer blogs and Instagram accounts today (see The Cat’s Pajamas blog for list) for your chance to win a $10 gift voucher! A winner is picked each day and posted on the TCP Facebook page!
Have fun and, remember, each sneaky peek item is released on the day it’s shown so you can get a head start on your shopping before things sell out on the official release day, Tuesday, March 26!
