The Journey
It’s Monday…again! A new week. A fresh start. Opportunity is knocking! Hey, gotta make Mondays sound good, you know! 🙂
I spent Saturday afternoon decluttering and organizing our office/playroom and, boy, let me tell you, that is a job! That is where I store the kids’ art supplies, library books and toddler toys, so you can about imagine what it looks like after a while. Add to that the fact that I haven’t really organized properly in that room since we moved into the house a little over a year ago, and you have quite the eyesore before you! I’d finally had it and dug in while DS3 was napping, DH was working on the laundry room project and the other two DS’s were happily playing. I made a dent in things, but I still have more to do. For now, I’m just enjoying walking into the room and feeling like I can breathe in there!
I then played with my Prickley Pear stamps a bit to create something for today, putting aside my valentine ideas and making something a little less bold than what I’ve been making the last few days.
Supplies:
Stamps – Prickley Pear (Journey Awakens, Gears Clock Face)
Paper – SU cardstocks (Kraft, Basic Black), Basic Grey DP (Out of Print)
Ink – SU (Basic Black)
Accessories – linen thread, circle punch, butterfly punch (Martha Stewart), SU vintage brad, paper piercer, distressing tool, foam dots (popped up the clock face)
