The Sky’s the Limit!
How fun to think about all the things you see up above! For me, I thought of airplanes! We hear airplanes flying overhead quite a bit. The local airport isn’t all that far away and we must be along some of their flying routes because it’s not uncommon to hear a plane passing by overhead, day or night.
I remembered a Paper Trey valentine set I had stashed away that has a little airplane as one of its images. I couldn’t resist creating some die cut clouds and letting that little plane zip behind them! I added a thin line of glitter with a Copic Spica pen on the clouds, but it doesn’t show up very well in the photo. I also used a red Copic Spica pen on the little heart. The one thing that does seem to show up well on my photos are smudges of ink. I wasn’t feeling like trying to hide it this time around, though, so you’ll have to put up with a little air pollution today (it’s on one of the clouds, if you’re curious)!

Love the wide open sky and the big fluffy clouds – the white on white keeps it perfectly CAS!
Well, smudge or no smudge, I think your card is fabulous. I love the white clouds on the white card.
ADORABLE Melissa I love that fun little plane! Have a delightful day!!
Don't say smudge! That is not a good word for me today. If you see my card post, you'll understand.
Love your darling 'love' plane with the little heart. And, we all know we have air pollution so all is well. LOL Super adorable card!
Melissa this is adorable. The plane trailing behind the clouds is brilliant!
fabulous card, melissa! brilliant idea to use the little airplane from tiny treats: valentine!
This is super cute, Melissa! The trails of dots looks like piercings to me, which would also be adorable! Or it could be my meds.
Cute “sky” challenge card! Like the contrast of the BIG clouds and the tiny plane. 🙂
What a super cute card, and I love how you added movement with that tiny trail behind the plane! nj!
That is a super cute little plane. Thanks for reminding me about that set – I seem to forget about my PTI stamps more often than not. 🙂
We live by the airport too so hear planes pretty regularly but we've been here since I was 5 so I pretty much tune them out now. 🙂
I love the way your aeroplane is zipping about behind the clouds Melissa. And of course I never would've noticed the ink smudge if you hadn't mentioned it!
Love this card ~ I wouldn't have thought to use white clouds on a white card, but it really works!
