‘Tis the Season
‘Tis the season for more snow! We got more of that fluffy white stuff yesterday and the boys couldn’t be happier! It makes for a pretty landscape this morning and now that the little ones and I have delivered DS1 & DS2 to school and DH to work, I’m settling in here at home enjoying the brightness of it all as the sun and blue sky smile down at us! I do like the freshness of a new snow, undisturbed and peaceful.
Today is the beginning of a new Clean & Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers and I’m guest designing as a DT alumni. The challenge this week is a Holiday Shopping/Party theme! Whenever I think of this time of year, Santa hats always come to mind because they seem to appear everywhere!
Stamps: Prickley Pear |
This cat image from Prickley Pear was staring up at me for the occasion and so I inked him up to make a fun holiday card! I paper pieced the hat and added clear Stickles before popping it up with foam dots. I started out stamping just a trio of those little red ornaments and then couldn’t stop myself from stamping more! As you can see, the poor feline probably needs a heavy duty umbrella due to the ornament shower that I created!
I’m off to brew a second cup of coffee, decaf. this time. My fingers need it.
