It’s time for a new CASology cue word and I think you’ll like it!  We know spring is coming, but it feels like it’s not coming quite fast enough.  Tropical thoughts are definitely in order, don’t you think?!

“Tropical” makes me think of a beach so I had to dig out some kraft cardstock.  With a beach, one hopes for plenty of sunshine, so that’s what I included on my card.  Both the sun and the clouds were created using STAMPlorations ARTplorations stencils.  I used a Lawn Fawn die to frame a little sky scene and popped it up to add a little dimension.  The simple sentiment was stamped in black on top of one of the clouds and then three yellow sequins were added.

I hope you’ll take a little time to visit the design team members’ blogs as well as this week’s guest designer’s blog!  They’d love to hear from you!

Love this, and the kraft reminds me of sand–so sun and sand is a tropical paradise.

Yes, kraft does bring sand to mind, and the fun sun and sequins are warm and tropical, too!

This feels lovely! I love how the white pigment ink works through stencils! It has texture unlike when it's stamped. Perfect for those fluffy clouds on a warm sunshiney day. Beautiful card!
