Victorian Ornament
Happy Monday!
After another busy weekend, I’m ready to jump into the comfort of the weekday routines! It feels like there are so many projects going on around here that I’m thankful when I can find a little creative time to unwind!
Today, I thought I’d share a card I made for Prickley Pear. It’s time to start thinking about holiday cards now that Halloween has come and gone! I used one of the clear stamps sets and the coordinating die as well as a die to create the leaves (see specifics in Supply list below). I really like color combinations that include grey! There’s something so soft and comforting about the color! I combined it with SU’s Wild Wasabi for a Christmas card.
Supplies:
Stamps – Prickley Pear (Victorian Ornament clear set)
Paper – SU Basic Gray, Brushed Silver & Wild Wasabi CS, white glitter CS
Ink – SU Basic Black, Wild Wasabi
Accessories – Prickley Pear Victorian Ornament Die, Holly & Berries Die, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, EK Success border punch, gold elastic cord, red gemstone, foam dots (popped up leaves and ornament), SU Basic Gray ribbon

Just beautiful, Melissa! I so love the gray, too. Looks lovely paired with the Wasabi green, and I love your design. Elegant and fun!
Absolutely beautiful! I don't use gray enough but you have shown me how subtle it is at the same adding such richness to the rest of the card.
Such a pretty card!! Love the colors and the glittery ornament is beautiful!
Gorgeous card, Melissa! Fantastic soft colors, love the glittery ornament against the grey.
